Doug Bashor, '57, earned Varsity letters in football, wrestling, baseball, and track. His senior year he was selected first team All-City and first team All-State center in football. He was a member of the 1957 Metro Shrine All-Star football team. Doug earned three Varsity letters in football while playing for Oregon State University. He was team captain in 1960 and co-scholar athlete in 1961. After college, he spent 28 years as wrestling coach at Crescent Valley High School. For many years he was a high school, college and international referee for both freestyle and Greco-Roman wrestling. In 1999, Doug was inducted into the National High School Wrestling Coaches Hall of Fame in Stillwater, Oklahoma.
